Drift ice

Yep, Hokkaido IS pretty far up north and one of things to do when you’re here is to go on a boat trip and look at "drift ice". Most of the ice had apparently gone to Russia, but we still managed to get an impressive view of some of the remaining flakes.

Why the hell had the ice gone to Russia…it`s scary isn`t it? going on a boat trip.

I’m guessing the ice was heading home to coooold coooold Russia were it belongs.

Cooold cooold Russia looks warmer than this cooold cooold Hokkaido. It`s ok, you can keep it, we don`t need any ice.
